The Village Hall has recently secured a grant from SSEN for the purchase and installation of low carbon technology heating and ventilation. If you have visited the hall in the winter months, you will know it's a touch chilly and damp which is not good for the occupants or the fabric of the building!

SSEN have granted us 100% of the cost of the purchase and installation of a state of the art air to air heat pump heating system and a heat recovery ventialtion system (HRV). The system will easily heat the hall quickly to a comfortable temperature for our events and hires, the sytem is economical to run and the HRV will remove damp and stale air from the building and recover any heat from it. We will be able to programme and operate the system remotely to ensure the hall is ready for guests at the start of each event.

The system will also provide cool air for hot days in the summer.

Installation will begin on 3rd February and will complete three weeks later. We will be unable to take bookings during this time, but look forward to welcoming you all to our new warm space.
